Our Power Plant Surveys are designed to extend the  life of a Plant by identifying trouble spots before they become a problem. The survey is performed annually. 

 Each survey is carefully tailored to the customer's specifications and requirements and may include:

Inspection
- Perform visual inspection of power plant.
- Verify battery records for trouble indicators.
- Hook & look test

Measurements & Adjustments
 Plant
 - Measure plant voltage.
 - Measure plant load.
 - Verify plant alarms local
 - Verify plat alarms remote
 - Record equipment layout and cabling of power plant.
 Batteries
 - Measure battery voltage of each string.
 - Measure individual cell voltages.
 - Measure battery charge current.
 - Measure & record AC ripple at the batteries.
 - Verify torque on all battery connections.
 - Record condition of battery rack.
 Chargers
 - Verify all chargers are online & available.
 - Verify all charges can produce 110% current.
 - verify N+1 available.
 - Verify charger alarms.
 - Verify voltage & current meters are correct.
 - Adjust voltage settings on chargers if necessary.
 - Record AC breaker feeds to chargers.
 - Record breaker and cable size.

Load Test
- Using site load evaluate battery performance.
- Monitor plant voltage during test.
- Monitor plant load during testing.
- Monitor individual cell readings during testing.
- Monitor battery post and strap connection temperature.
- Measure battery string voltage.
- Measure individual cell voltages.
- Monitor recharge current at battery.

Infrared inspection services
- Perform scan of battery connections during discharge
- Perform scan of Main & Supplemental discharge bays
- Perform scan of secondary distribution (BDFB)
- Perform scan of AC input breakers during charger loads

Safety

Corrective Action
- Make recommendations on corrective action items.
- Coordinate repairs as outlined in recommendations.
